Spinoza, born in Havana, Cuba, exiled to Mexico at a very young age where he lived for a few years before moving to the United States.  As a child, Spinoza was always inclined to express himself creatively through painting and sculpting, which eventually helped him to cope living away from his native country.  His focus is modern abstract art that interchanges between figurative or non-figurative.

Spinoza remembers that amongst his many childhood games, his favorite past time was to grab a bar of soap and start to mold it into figures and faces.  Through this he discovered the passion he has in using his hands to create sculptures.

At the young age of 14, hidden from his parents, he entered a contest.  His sketch of a futuristic car won him a future scholarship to study in Detroit.  His dreams were quickly shattered since his parents did not grant him permission to leave his home.  After this, he separated himself from his artwork to work as a camera man, television producer, and acting.

After many years, Spinoza returned to his real passion, fine art painting and creating sculptures. Traveling worldwide has provided him with a gateway of opportunities to attend workshops and learn the art of other countries, such as United States, Spain, Italy, Mexico, and Argentina.  As such he has presented in various collector’s exhibits, along with private showcases around the world.
